" It's the Friday before New Year's Day and at
2:00PM, I notice that I do not have my requisite UPS package containing the
Compensation Solutions payroll. I know that the payroll has been processed
having checked by own direct deposit account. But since our daily UPS
delivery has already been made, I left a message for our Payroll Technician,
asking her to provide a tracking number.
She promptly returned my call and before I
have an opportunity to suggest how I might go about tracking my own payroll, she
advises that she already has. Regrettably, the package is in the UPS
sorting facility in Parsippany, New Jersey. Cognizant of timing on a
pre-holiday Friday, she offered to re-run the payroll and have it hand delivered
to our offices.
